For a “basic” corporate party with sound system, AV equipment, DJ, standard drinks (for 5 hours), snacks, and venue rental, we give an indicative starting price of approximately €60–€70 excl. VAT per person (based on groups of at least 80–100 people, though this can vary per location). This base budget can be expanded with a wide range of options (see the example program and themes above). Before planning a corporate party anywhere, it is important to first consider:

• The budget per person or total maximum budget (including or excluding VAT)

• The expected number of attendees, with a realistic range of ±10–15%

Based on these two points, further planning can take place. For example:

• Depending on the budget, start with dinner or perhaps start at 8:00 PM (so colleagues can eat at home beforehand). Decide on standard or extended drink packages, including mixed drinks, special beers, etc., or provide a set number of drink tokens per person to stay within budget.

• Venue location: nearby, close to a station (easily accessible), or in a rural area or another city. Will colleagues arrive by their own transport, or will a coach be arranged? Is an overnight stay included? We have several corporate party venues with hotel rooms. Also consider potential parking costs.

• Band or DJ, optional extras, and activities

• Venue decoration, themed party elements, projector, etc.

• Venue rental: some locations charge nothing extra if a minimum food/drink turnover is reached; others may charge for space rental, staff, cleaning, etc.

• Insurance, safety, and host services
