Murder of Rudy the Ski Instructor

Who—or what—is Rudy really? After a day skiing with friends and a beer or two, Rudy collapses dead. Now it’s up to your team-agencies to investigate! Each team appoints a chairperson (e.g., Barack Obama, Mr. Bean, Gimli, Pablo Escobar, Shrek, or Elvis Presley).

Discover Rudy’s true identity: who killed him, on whose orders, with what, where, and most importantly—why? The murder dinner game is packed with twists, clues, and tasks.

Teams begin with different information and must work together using smartphones. Collaborate, negotiate, and beware of deceit! During the dinner or buffet, gameplay is interspersed with tasks and mini-quizzes. Rudy even returns from the dead to host an Après Ski Quiz, offering extra clues and bonus points.

At the end, each team presents their suspicions: who committed the murder, where, with what, and why.

Program

  • Welcome at a restaurant or hall
  • Welcome drink or immediate drinks start
  • Intro music “Anton aus Tirol,” Rudy appears—Murder Dinner begins!
  • Teams (agencies) formed and present their introductions
  • Humor, puzzles, negotiations, and challenges
  • Meal intermissions
  • Surprise mini quiz by Rudy with Après Ski music
  • Final presentations and prize ceremony
  • Optional: DJ or live band afterwards

Program times can be arranged in consultation and may, for example, take place from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. We aim for exclusivity, meaning you rent the location exclusively for this theme and dinner, possibly followed by a party (DJ/band). Ask about the possibilities!
