Price Indications for a Themed Party:

A “basic” themed party with sound system, AV equipment, DJ, standard drinks (for 5 hours), snacks, and venue rental starts from approximately €60–€70 excl. VAT per person. Keep in mind that some venues expect a minimum of around 100 guests. This base budget can be expanded with additional options (see examples above). Before organizing a corporate party, consider first:

• Budget per person or total maximum budget (including or excluding VAT)

• Expected number of guests (allowing a ±10–15% margin)

Based on these points, planning can continue. For example:

• Depending on the budget, start with dinner or perhaps begin at 8:00 PM (so colleagues can eat at home beforehand). Decide on standard or extended drink packages, including mixed drinks, special beers, or provide a set number of drink tokens per person.

• Venue location: nearby, close to a station (easily accessible), or in a rural area or another city. Will colleagues arrive by their own transport or is a coach arranged? Is an overnight stay included? We have corporate party venues with hotel rooms available. Also consider parking costs.

• Band or DJ, optional extras, and activities

• Venue decoration, themed elements, projector, etc.

• Venue rental: some locations charge nothing extra if a minimum food/drink turnover is reached; others may charge for space rental, staff, cleaning, etc.

• Insurance, safety, host services

If the budget is limited, consider a smaller-scale corporate party or hosting it at your own location. Under WKR regulations, hosting on your own premises can be a very interesting option.

Example Program for a Themed Party:

Guests arrive in themed attire (e.g., Christmas outfit or Oktoberfest costume).

• Tip: the most original outfit or Christmas sweater wins a prize

18:00 – Guest arrival, cloakroom, and welcome drink

• Optional act or themed drink (e.g., schnapps or mulled wine)

19:00 – Opening of the party evening

• Buffet, barbecue, walking dinner, 3-course meal, bratwurst, etc.

• Background music

20:30 – Dessert service (staff in themed attire), followed by:

• Optional management speech

• Activity such as an après ski quiz or competitions (beer pong, table football, Jenga, ping pong, etc.)

• Karaoke

21:00 – DJ or band starts

• Snacks served throughout, optional special treats (e.g., oyster service)

• Optional act (e.g., magician, Black Jack Fun Ladies)

• Optional photobooth or greenscreen, or photographer/videographer

• Optional separate cocktail bar, gin & tonic bar, rum bar, etc.
