Ice games
Step onto the ice during Relactive Events’ Ice Games! In teams, you’ll compete with your colleagues in various game challenges on the ice. Before hitting the ice, you’ll receive instructions, teams will be formed, and you’ll get snowsteps (spikes for your own flat shoes). Then, hats on, coats and gloves ready, and let the ice fun and team-building begin! Each team plays 3 to 6 of the following games, depending on ice rental time and group size:
- Fun Curling Experience: Sweep our stones as close as possible to the center of the house. Which stone lands in the middle scores the points. For a full workshop and techniques, book a Fun Curling Workshop.
- Human Bowling: Ingredients: sled, pins, and a person. Push your colleague on a sled toward the pins and go for a strike!
- Ice Hockey Competition (not possible at every rink): Hockey on shoes, score against the opponent! Different rules may apply, and maybe more than one puck…
- Human Curling: Curling with living curling stones! Push your colleague on a giant rubber band as close as possible to the center of the house. Are you playing strategically?
- Sled Slalom on Ice (not available at all rinks): Slide yourself to victory as quickly as possible using a sled and 2 poles. Are you faster than your competitors?
- Jeu d’Ice: Boules, but with a stick and pucks. Who slides the puck closest to the target? Fun for young and old!
- Ice Stick Shooting (not at all rinks): Often confused with curling. Here, you throw the ice stick underhand like bowling toward the house. There’s no sweeping, as the sticks can arrive fast and can knock other sticks away.
- Einstein Quiz: A mini quiz with 20 challenging winter-themed questions. Teams try to give as many correct answers as possible in limited time.
At the end of the Ice Games, you leave the ice for a fun award ceremony. Who will be crowned the “King of the Ice Games”? Warm up with hot chocolate or mulled wine. If you want an extended program, the Ice Games can be combined with an ice sculpture workshop, free skating, and/or a custom quiz. Catering and drinks can also be arranged for groups of 30 or more.
