Ice Scuplting workshop

Modeling ice sculptures is creative, fun, hilarious, and excellent for team building! The Ice Scuplting Workshop can be organized anywhere: indoors or outdoors, in the city or at your location, in a hotel or elsewhere. You name it. We bring the sculpture materials, crystal-clear ice blocks, and for indoor use, optional drip trays and tarpaulin to your chosen location.

We have a nationwide network of cozy and comfortable restaurants and hotels where we can host the Ice Scuplting Workshop. Before and after the workshop, you can of course enjoy good food and drinks.

Our Ice Scuplting Workshop has been provided by our enthusiastic facilitators since 2010. Clients book this as a group outing or often combine it with a training or meeting. After our introduction, a 3D design is created first (phase 1). We expect a bit of extra creativity to make the sculpting challenging. The ice blocks are brought out, and the participants get to work (phase 2). In phase 3, they will decorate the sculpture, and the artwork truly comes to life. Each team prepares their presentation, and in the final phase (often hilarious), the presentations are given. Has a team succeeded in realizing their design? We have a fun prize for them!

Program

The activity lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours from introduction to prize ceremony. One hour is also feasible. You provide the location, or we can suggest unique locations in almost any major city. We offer the following options:

  • We come to your location; you provide tables and space. Possibly interesting for tax purposes (WKR).
  • We come to your reserved (external) location; we can handle contacts there, including possible rental of tables and space. We bring drip trays and tarpaulin for the floor if needed.
  • We organize, in consultation with you, a location within our partner network. These are often also cost-effective when combined with a lunch or dinner.

Example program:

  • Welcome at a cozy café/restaurant or your location
  • Option: drink or lunch buffet beforehand
  • Explanation, form teams of 3 people per ice block
  • Start workshop (drinks during the session available on request, depending on location)
  • Presentation of ice sculptures by the groups (surprising and hilarious)
  • Fun prize ceremony and closing
  • Option: drinks, buffet, 3-course dinner, barbecue, themed party

Prices excluding VAT

Based on 3 people per ice block:

  • Ice Sculptures up to 30 participants: €1125
  • From 30 participants: €37.50 per person (always calculated per group of 3).

These prices include our guidance, (pre-)organization, invoicing, necessary materials, and a fun prize ceremony with prizes after the workshop.

Additional information and indicative prices:

  • We assume you reserve a meeting/hospitality room or that we come to your company location, preferably outdoors or otherwise indoors. On request, we can arrange a (hospitality) location for a surcharge of €35 for organizational and reservation costs. One contact person and one invoice for you. Price excludes drinks, food, worktables, and any room rental.
  • Preferably, we provide this workshop outdoors. In dry weather, fine; in rain, perhaps under a canopy or large umbrellas. On request, a tent can be provided for an extra fee depending on group size, or we move indoors.
  • If we provide the workshop outdoors (or indoors), we assume the location provides worktables, minimum size 70×70 cm. On request and at extra cost, we can provide tables (including transport, loading, and unloading). Price depends on numbers and location.
  • This workshop can also be conducted indoors. Ice blocks are usually provided with drip trays. Extra fee per tray: €5 per ice block. Sometimes a tray is not needed, and ice pieces may go on the floor (e.g., concrete with drainage). Others mop the floor afterward.
  • Most (90%) ice pieces are caught in trays, but some may fall on the floor (10%). If the room prefers the floor not to get wet, we can provide extra tarpaulin. Tarpaulin and setup/teardown are extra costs (minimum €90), exact price depends on group size.
  • Travel costs: North Brabant and Limburg €125; Randstad, Central Netherlands, Zeeland €225; Northern Netherlands and Belgium €325.
