Solex Tour

The Solex 3800 evokes a nostalgic feeling. These mopeds originally come from France (1918) and the motorized bicycle, type 3800, was manufactured in 1966. This type is 45 years old and you now get to ride it yourself. For city rides we use type 4800, due to heavier traffic and city lighting (ideal for example during the Light Route). During this activity you will learn the basic techniques of riding a Solex. Riding this moped is a unique and very special experience. You feel like you are traveling back in time, and even today it is a fun means of transport! During this activity each participant receives 1 Solex. During the route a guide can accompany you and take you past various highlights, or you can choose a puzzle tour with/without supervision.

The great thing about our Solex experience is that we can start at any desired location and also end at any desired location. So if you want to start at your conference location, hotel, company or association, that is possible. And for example we end at the dinner location! We coordinate the route and timing with you.

Good to know:

We transport the Solexes by truck to any desired location.
For riding a Solex you need at least a moped driving license.

The fixed price for up to 30 people is €1,800
From 30 people onwards, prices vary and start at €60 per person

Additional information and indicative prices:

This price includes guidance or a puzzle tour, our (pre-)organization, and transportation costs (delivering and collecting the Solexes at any desired location). You must arrange your own travel/accident insurance for the trip.
The Solexes are delivered with a full tank; tour duration is 2 hours maximum.
Each additional half hour costs €15 per person.
For an additional fee, we can arrange stops at local restaurants, cafés, or museums along the way.
You can start at point A (we deliver and start there) and finish at point B (we collect and finish there) if desired.
We can also organize this outing in your city of choice. Price on request.

Travel costs:

To locations in North Brabant and Limburg: €125
To locations in the Randstad, Central Netherlands, and Zeeland: €225
To locations in Northern Netherlands and Belgium: €325

Depending on your wishes, location, and overall program, additional costs may apply, such as catering, parking, and extra travel expenses. We need to be able to easily deliver and collect the Solexes with a trailer at the start and finish locations. Request a quote!
